I recently sent my 9 month old MacBook back to Apple for repair. The screen had an odd pattern of "noisy" pixels around the edges of colors. Solid colors were fine, but any variation in the color showed the pattern.
I got the laptop back yesterday and I couldn't be more pleased. I shipped it off Tuesday night and they attempted deliver Thursday morning which means it was less than two days, round trip, for the repair! Not only did they fix the screen (by giving me a new one), but they also replaced the entire keyboard panel because it had a crack in it. I hadn't told them about the crack, but they fixed it anyway.
I am extremely pleased with the service and amazed that they went out of their way to fix all the problems they found. Thanks Apple! The MacBook is the best computer related purchase I've ever made.
