Goodbye Sky Harbor

Well tonight is my last night in Phoenix; I'll be flying out around midnight. It's been a great trip. Short, yet very interesting. Our panel went really well today...the crowd was geniunely interested in what we (including Jim of CityCon fame) had been working on. Even though it was a journalism conference, I attended some very interesting sessions and met some really cool people. It was a beautiful area that I hope to come back to, hopefully with Mary next time.

I also feel compelled to mention (partially because I was asked, partially because it is true) that I had a fantastic evening chatting with Kristina, Brooke, Anu, and Bill.

On a really dorky note, I am huge fan of Jimmy Eat World, from Arizona, and one of my favorite songs by them is Goodby Sky Harbor. The moment I realized that Sky Harbor was the Phoenix airport I just had to have a blog post titled after the song. So go get the song right now and listen to it. Listen to it my entire trip home. You may stop listening when I land at 9:30am EST.
