To celebrate the transition to my new web host, I decided to ditch WordPress and rewrite the site in Django. I had numerous security issues at my old host, some of which related to WordPress, and just wanted to get away from all of that.
Django is a Python framework that makes it super easy and awesome to develop web applications. I've had a blast writing the code to this point and I have some ideas on some additional things to add. I've also added reCaptcha to cut down on comment spam.
Along with that I'm pulling out the long dormant web design skills. It's not a work of art, but I'm pretty pleased with where I am at so far. I've still got a lot of work to do on it. And I didn't even steal from Jason Garber this time.
